Hello friends, our great Indian scientists have contributed a lot in advancement of science. Some of great works are Raman Effect, Microwave Communication, Higgs Boson particle, Mysore Rockets and Pentium Microprocessor Chip. Friends, here you will find a ready made essay on great Indian scientists.

A very good morning to one and all. Respected jury member, and all the heads present here, today, I ________ standing here before you to express my views on the topic-“INVENTIONS OF GREAT INDIAN SCIENTISTS”.
India has given us many great scientists. Jagdis Chadra Basu, CNR Rao, CV Raman, APJ Abdul Kalam and many other great scientists have glorified our country through their inventions.
We must learn from the lives of these scientists, if we look at the early life of ALJ Abdul Kalam we would come to know that he belonged to a poor family and even sold newspaper in his teenage. But he never gave up hope, he struggled hard and become MISSLE MAN OF INDIA and first scientist president of our country.
Another scientist CV Raman during a voyage to Europe in 1921 noticed the blue colour of glaciers and sea water. He was motivated to discover the reason for the blue colour. He carried out experiments regarding the scattering of light by water and explained ground breaking phenomenon known as ‘Raman Effect’. This effect is the result of deep observation of a common phenomenon.
When we talk about Satyendra Nath Bose, he was a great Mathematician and Physicist. He explained radiations through statistics and discovered what came to be known as bosons. His marvelous works can be seen in X-ray crystallography.
Subrahmanyam Chandra Shekhar was a scientist who was counted in famous astro-physics scientists only at age of 27 years. He is known for his great discovery called ‘Chandra Shekhar Limit’ which informs us about the size of stars called ‘White Dwarf’.
These scientists made us proud to be Indians. We must work like these scientists and propagate name of our country throughout the world.
I want to end my speech by saying few poetic lines-
How do scientists do what they do?
Well you know because you are a scientist, too!
Observation is an important part –
In fact it’s the part at the very start.
For it’s observation that causes you to wonder why
Earthworms do what they do and clouds forms in the sky.
Your hypothesis is a “best guess” based on what you know
About how things work-now you are ready to go!
Experimentation lets you test the hypothesis you have made-
To see if your best guess can make the grade.
And because variation is found in nature everywhere,
Repeated trails should be done, and done with care.
And don’t forget decide what variables you’ll test.
You change the independent variables, but not the rest.
Recording your data is important, too;
So you can analyze the results and others can repeat what you do.
When you’ve summarized your results and your experiment is done,
You’ll have more information about nature and you’ll have had some fun.
So, now you know that the scientific method is really cool,
And that scientists don’t just measure-they rule.
